Eight photos to inspire a trip to North Wales

We recently explored North Wales to review Bodysgallen Hall and Spa (#ad) in Llandudno offering views across Snowdonia. With the seaside and mountains just minutes away, we made sure our cameras were at the ready to capture some of the best sites and landmarks...

1. Conwy Castle

Conwy Castle

The grand 13th century castle built under the order of Edward I is one of the finest castles in Wales with many tall towers and a wall that encompasses the whole town.

2. Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch

The longest place name in Europe is one for the bucket list with many tourists heading to the train station to get a photo in-front of the sign.

3. Llandudno

6. The Smallest House in Great Britain

The smallest house in Britain is located in Conwy, and the last person to live there was a 6ft 3 fisherman!

7. Welsh food

8. Caernarfon Castle

Another one of Edward I's commissions, Caernarfon was where the last investiture of the Prince of Wales was held in 1969 for Prince Charles.
